Animal fibres
Generating value for the land stewards is critical for regeneration. The herders are working with goats, sheep, camels, horses, cattle and yaks. The more we can create value across all these fibres the more we can reduce pressure on the landscape, build resilience and foster diversity.

Integrating value chain co-ordination with landscape management is the key link that has been missing. To that end we work with multiple partners across all these fibres - looking to collaborate to create the best outcomes for the landscapes.

That means not just fine knitwear but also working with the fibre that is normally treated as waste or surplus. Developing applications for the totality of the fibres.

Here can be found forecast volumes of fibres linked to the number of landscapes in our pipeline.

Fibres are generally available for the following year. This enables herders to plan and for supply chains to be managed. We aim to secure commitments in Autumn each year for the following year.
We work with each new community for about one year before they are ready for integration - during that year we can collect samples. This helps with forward planning.
